Isn't home delivery a great thing? ☺ I've been using it for over two years now, as one of the ways we get our groceries; and.... I'm still a huge fan of the practice.

It saves me so much time and effort 🛍️; and perhaps this may be "the future" of shopping in general; where: one orders everything they need online (or over the phone) and then it's brought to you by the store - at an agreed upon date and time.

Perhaps as the years go on, and we find ourselves in a later part of the 21st century - this type of shopping will become the new normal.... who knows. 🛍️

Anyway, we had a Halloween "costume contest" and candy party here locally in the neighborhood where we live at 🍬; (hence, the flyer you see on our door with the rather cool looking pumpkin) 🎃.

And as much as I may have wanted to - I didn't attend it, because I was recovering from an ear infection that I had earlier in the week, and I was a bit woozy the whole day.

I didn't find out who the winners were - but they won two free movie tickets as a reward. ☺ 🎃

It's a small token prize (one could probably argue) but.... it was still a nice thing for us to have. And I'm sure the people that won it enjoyed it. 🎟️ It's the little things in life (like this) that one needs to appreciate these days.
