I needed to explain to a friend what "homasyavki" are, and then I discovered that this ancient (2007) but very important piece of art for me simply doesn’t exist online—except for tiny versions on a couple of obscure sites! So, I decided to fix that situation :3
In a nutshell, "homasyavki" (now known as "yasavi") are tiny, flocking maobytes that live in large colonies in a specific location on Raekterrna. They’re usually very elusive: if you try to catch them off guard, you’ll only manage to see a few disappearing (literally) or scurrying off to hide (very much like the soot sprites from My Neighbor Totoro).

I finally figured out why this pic has been MIA for so long—originally, it was a massive piece across four A4 pages. The big, digitally stitched version somehow got lost, and back then, tiny me didn’t have the determination to reassemble it all, since I was still steering clear of digital work xDDD So it sat there for a hundred years in four separate scan pieces.
