I've been thinking about this thing recently.

Something I've wanted to continue upon is that the animal often gets out only to go back inside a different yet same shape. The outside is scary, unknown and the familiar shape is so inviting suddenly again. If getting out is difficult, staying outside of it is even more so, and then there's the choir of others who keep echoing that it's so nice to be back inside. Sometimes it even feels like an unavoidable loop, and that's an easy excuse for going back. The journey outside is lonely and difficult, but once you gain the courage to stay outside for a bit you realize there are others out here, we just aren't packed in so tightly.
