My god, the coloring on on the horse and the destructive serenity of the background is nothing short of draw dropping!

It's a bunch of things, the bottom is a photo of acacia thorns super blown out and set to multiply, then erased out as needed, umm the bg is some stone and slate textures I think, there's a wip here that shows more of it: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/46806198/
Also some lightning photo, and then I just painted over and the rolling thunderstorms emerged.
If I have learned on thing at my job, it is for the love of god use some textures and shortcut like 20 hours of painting. XD

This pic is made entirely of awesome and kickass. I love the red almost glow that the horse has. The smoke coming from his mouth, and the background all blend together for one mean, destructive mood. I love it!

Those front hooves look so powerful and heavy, just about ready to come crashing down. Very great movement.
