Oh my god I HATE THAT. I did that with this one book series I love (author's name is Kim Harrison) and the third book was all the store had. I'm all caught up now, but MAN did I spoil myself lol.

I just read the first chapter of a book which I thought was the fourth, but was actually the eighth, and it said "I really wish that supporting character didn't die last time" and I was like FUUUUUUUUCK.
