HOLY ASS CRACKERS, I FKING LOOOOOVE A WIZARD OF EARTH SEA!!!
This book was recommended to me by a good friend and it was fantastic, one of the best fantasy novels I've read. I love the way Ursula depicts imagery in the novel. She describes things very briefly and in short sentences, and yet she is successfully in making your imagination perfectly visualise the scene in great detail, the pure embodiment of "more is less". And the story was a rollercoaster, I was itching to keep on reading and I've taken longer breaks at work ( when I wasn't suppose to :'3 ) just so I can finish the rest of the chapter.
You did an amazing job, I think you captured Ged's likeness perfectly here! I'll be sure to show this to the friend who recommended me these fantastic series of books <3

It's such a good book!! I love it, I was really sick this past weekend and was sad in bed and my partner convinced me to read it and I just loved it so much. And you're right, the concise descriptiveness she uses in her writing is so good, I am in awe of the balance of brevity and gorgeous, illustrative imagery. I really felt like I was watching a lovingly animated movie in my head when I was reading it.
Have you read The Tombs of Atuan? I just finished that one as well, and it was wonderful. Ged is such a great character and I was itching for days to be able to draw him (I was on vacation, which was fun, but I just wanted to keep reading haha)
