Crappy cell phone pic for my leg tattoo. It's Matthias from Redwall.
Yup. I'm a furfag, I guess. The series, while not the best books (Yes, I KNOW they are repetitive and formulaic!) they got me into art, writing, and fueled my love for reading!
Really amazing work from my tattoo artist. The color is SO much more rich than the pic shows.

Right! I got Matthias since he doesn't become a warrior because he was forced to, or because he wanted to be a bad ass, or trained for years or anything. He only became a warrior and raised his sword to protect his friends and family. Pretty cool character to get inked on me.
Very noble and worthy of a warrior. I always had a thing for the little female mouse. I'm spacing out on the name, but she had her own book too. She went out to sea trying to rescue her father and fought against the rats.
Though, I still think its sad that rats were always bad.

rad!
mossflower and salamandastron were my favorites. i stopped reading after about 10 of them, because (Sorry) they just seemed like the same story over and over.
his refusal to make any vermin species "goodbeasts" kind of frustrated, but hey, that was his world and his rules.
EULALIA..... bitches.
If I could get a tattoo, this would be the one, mostly because I LOVE THE REDWALL BOOKS!!
I've loved the Redwall series since junior high school, when I first read it. Those books took me back to my early childhood. They're kinda similar to Narnia, but it's more exciting and adventurous. Brian Jacques created the coolest, most invigorating series of books EVER when he imagined Redwall. No kidding!!
