I think my art skills have improved greatly since joining FA, and I felt my existing avatar didn't reflect my current abilities.

It's still cute (and you can still see it in my gallery) but I wanted to make something with better shading, more realistic and streamlined fox-like.

So this is the result! He's supposed to be laying on a real-life beach but I don't have any good beach photos from this angle so the background will have to wait till I can make my next 1500+ mile road trip to Miami, maybe in a few months. ^_^

Woo, I'm topless. ;) I don't like wearing shirts IRL anyway so I might make this a permanent switch to his design. (Though I need something else as an accessory that says "tropical". Hmmm....)

PS. The shading layer looked neat so you can find it in my Scraps.
