So I mentioned wanting to make a pic of a toddler Grell, and so here's a quick sketch. Before the events of "Path of Redemption", Grell was very much an unplanned kid. As he grew up, he was often neglected. Here he's trying to show his parents a pic of a ship he designed, but they pay him no attention. HIs parents would have been shown as shadows, but I could not get them to come out right. Maybe when I work on this some other time. Anyway, all that neglect (and an unfortunate event as an adult) contributed to make him a mercenary and criminal, until he ended as a prisoner of the Archosaur Patrol, where he found the chance not only to rectify his past sins, but to find someone to love.

Dammit... now I want to draw a toddler Darkthunder.
