I never watched the show, World of David the Gnome, much as a kid, but it was always on before something I did watch. I remember seeing the credits for it a lot.

My friend reintroduced me to it last month and I fell in love with the theme song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCL3JWkRyCI It's soooooooo 80s and it embedded itself into my head for weeks. It wouldn't let me go until I sang it. lol

I remember this show mostly for the theme song, myself! What did you watch after, was it the Fairy Tale show? I don't know why, but going into the 90's we had a lot of great showtunes.

I think the best were in the 80's... this show was actually from 1985. But they got to us in syndication in the early 90s. Hehe.

Oh God, what DID I watch on Nick Jr. that early in life? It was probably Eureeka's Castle... it ran from 1989 to 1996 whereas David the Gnome ran from 1988 to 1995, according to Wikipedia. :)

Yeah, all great stuff! I can link you to some other songs I remember. They put them in their shows and animated movies, but they were great, and always left me wondering "Ok, who sung/wrote that, and why aren't they in the mainstream?"

I'm old enough to have actually seen the show. As well as Eureka's Castle among other such shows.

Yup. I'm a year younger than you and still remember when Nick Jr. was all about uhhhh... Care Bears, World of David the Gnome, Eureeka's Castle, and Papa Beaver's Story Time. Hehe.

its awesome the Gnome judge was named Clause and his name is in the Title but good luck finding a torrent or youtube copy of it cus i tried and still not found it
