Supermarkets generally have cold rooms out the back to store stock that won't fit on the shelves, in the middle of my work day I found a cake box that was new and different, assuming [correctly] it was trial stock I started to nom it, and a coworker told me that was fine, my manager walked through though and in his perspective I was just chilling out in one of the cool rooms eating cake as opposed to working

Caught by the manager...gotta hate that. Really sucks though when you're caught in those situations and it appears that you are in the wrong when you are actually not

Tell me about it, i'll see people have like 6 smokos, work my ass off and the boss only wanders through in the 5 seconds I sit back on a desk
