Just a poem I wrote. I'm super rusty, and I wasn't really thinking, just letting the words come out. This is a thank you to... well, everyone I know personally that's put up with my bullshit on any level. It's not long, or especially poignant, but it's true at least in what I hope is a sincere manner.

Thank you. So much. I can't express how much you guys mean to me without resorting to gutting the dictionary for all the words of worth and meaning, every syllable that carries any positive intonation, meaning, or depth. You make life worth living, and I don't say that enough to any of you.

It's hard to state the power of a smile. A true, proper smile, one that comes from genuine mirth or joy. It's quite literally like the sun parting the clouds, the spray of the breaking ocean upon your face, the scent of a newly bloomed flower. You know it's genuine because it spreads. An absolute smile cannot be contained, and even if it's for one moment... That's all you need to make the world a brighter, happier place.
