I rarely do political art because that is just not me, but after what has happened in my country I can't be quiet about it anymore. I'm so disappointed in my country that we let a idiotic fascist tyrant become president again. where discrimination, racism and sexism can rise up again. so as far as I'm concerned my government can be all burned to the ground.

This country is so cooked....It turns out, this was an anti-incumbency election, and the dude is a charismatic and controversial celebrity....professionalism/polishness in politics is long dead and over, since we're in the social media era. 😑
A guy who tried to OVERTHROW THE PREVIOUS ELECTION now got his wish, because since we don't value intelligence nor good policies, the country decided to have him back, by POPULAR DEMAND even. 😠

I'm not as pessimistic as most of my friends as at least in the short-term there won't be the undermining of our democracy like we saw after the 2020 election and with January 6th. Long-term it depends on what kind of slash-and-burn policies get passed and enacted as while the country needs change and can't continue like it's done some of what has already been proposed as possible changes is unsettling and I doubt they've considered longer considerations. Quite a detailed picture of the Capitol.
yeah, i guess one silver lining out of this is no more crying the election was stolen or big riots on the capital and trump can't run for aonther term after this. the thing that scares me the most is project 2025 that outlines all the laws and polices the republicans plan to pass with trump, whether or not any of those laws actually gets passed remains to be seen.
There are some fairly radical plans in Project 2025 and it is very likely Trump will push for some of them considering the influence The Heritage Foundation has in the Republican Party and in Trump's first term. How much gets done may likely depend on Vance as one thing that showed in Trump's first term is that he has little to no interest in actually crafting legislation and backroom dealing, instead letting other people do it while he works to market it to his base as the "next best thing ever". The irony is the harder they push with all this stuff the more likely 2026 is to be a repeat of the 2018 election in costing Republicans control of Congress.
yeah, i'm well aware of project 2025 and some of the awful laws and policies it has, but it mostly depends on the republicans in the house and the sente and how much they really want to push these laws. yeah, i figure as much, trump is all show and no talk, he just likes being president because its a position of power, not really caring about the legislation of my country.
