It will take at least 3 more chapters till the magic police is going to raid the lab to arrest them.

Hopefully they're able to get away with their research before then.

Just binged this story, and I LOVE it.

It’s just the whole situation seems unsustainable? Ouroboros is aptly named, because you need lots of training to get in, but you can’t legally get that training before you graduate.
Which means basically everyone who gets in is an illegal practitioner.

I mean, for a school, they don’t do any teaching. It just seems like they want pre-trained and loyal mages? Or the rare talent which is just absolutely broken. And everyone else just becomes an illegal mage, probably with a grudge against authority.


Not a criticism of the story, but it just looks like the whole “magic” situation is a few years away from destroying the country.

Also, I don’t know why Shelly is surprised the “health potion” is actually forbidden magic/alchemy. She knows the doctor is extremely shady, and if this thing really was as useful as it seemed, why isn’t she going public with it? Can’t wait to see how else she transforms in the name of “getting stronger.”
