A traveller might catch sight from time to time one of these silent figures. Excellent huntsmen, trackers, foragers, and often skilled with bow and short sword. They do not appear to wed or live communally, the mother raises and trains her children in the crafts of survival, before sending them on their way as young adults. Occasionally they appear in towns and markets selling furs and crafted oddities or trading for goods, but never more than what they personally need. They’ve been known to help those they come across, but universally refuse any payment for aid lended.
