"...The dragon gently cradled one of the eggs with its paws,
holding its breath. Its heart beat in sync with the faint tremor of new life within.
The other three eggs lay sheltered under its wing, bathed in soft sunlight.
Anticipation filled the air - the moment when the silence would break
with the first crack of the shell, and new life
would finally burst into this world..."
On a cold evening, I wanted to draw something that would bring warmth
and a sense of coziness to others. And so, a dragon guarding its nest,
eagerly awaiting its hatchlings, came to life on my canvas.
I truly love this illustration for its atmosphere. I'm hoping it finds an owner
who’d like to share in this feeling by placing their own character in it :)
Start Bid = $200
Min Bid = $10
For every additional $100, a hatchling will appear (look at them) in the art,
emerging from an egg (if the buyer wishes). There are three in total,
each one can be a character of the winner's choice.
They could be your own dragon characters or characters of friends! :)
RULES:
1. Species - Dragon with wings
(if the original doesn’t have wings,
I can color them in the character’s palette);
2. Color - Non-toxic colors;
3. Gender - Female / Male / Any;
4. Payment - PayPal
- Wing membranes will partially retain a red tint, as they’re illuminated by the sun;
- I may alter details such as head shape, horns, scales, etc.
Auction end: 48 hours after the last bid
Please note that the gallery will display two versions of the artwork - this one (the original)
and the new version for the winner. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
