...a pirate's life...not for me..?
Yeah it's crappy but I wanted to draw it.
This line certainly was meant humourusly but I when I heard it,
it felt rather heavy to me. Like, wow.
It wasn't even delivered with that much of a punch,
but it seemed like...like this moment you realize that it's all over?
ANYWAY reading way too much into this.

Well he is just too nice to be a pirate, so it's like the universe is trying to communicate that to him by putting him in INCREDIBLY awkward situations (turning his fiancee into a statue, the whole Largo encounter, disembodied talking voodoo skulls insulting him constantly.)
He is just a bit... "Thick" too i think. I mean, even LeChuck knows he is the worst protagonist ever.
Don't get me wrong, he is one of my favorite characters EVER but the guy just doesn't know when to quit. How old is he anyway? like 40? lol
