Original Species: Horn-brow Crocodile
The Horn-brow Crocodile is a large predatory reptile native to the swampy areas of Shangrila. It is a close, smaller relative of the Black Devil Crocodile. Unlike its black-scaled cousin, it lives in a much better-lit environment, which makes its greenish-grey scales a much better form of camouflage.
The Horn-brow Crocodile can be commonly encountered on the muddy banks of swamps in the continent's northwest part. Its diet primarily consists of fish, other aquatic reptiles, and the occasional wyvern. It itself can fall prey to larger, predatory wyverns, especially at a young age.
The horns on this crocodilian's brows serve as a means of identifying members of its species. They also resemble broken-off branches, making the crocodile resemble an old, floating tree log even more.
