Um... thank you. Thank you very much.:) I'm part of the Riverside Players: We perform the audio seris, "Otter Island" over on the Ottercomics website. Here's the link to the show's page:

Of the voices you have shown us, this seems the most rich, the deepest, in terms of character. This is the one which I can most easily believe is coming from the character; the most organic, if you will. The accent is a bit thick, perhaps a little overplayed and doesn't seem to come from any particular place, but not so much that I consider it faulty, and it has a great sense of charm to it.
.. I thank you.:) Since the character playing the character is written "hillbilly", I simply aimed at Southern and used previous comic strips for a pronunciation guide. Not everyone agreed, of course, but most liked it.
The thickness is partially intentional; too often, subtle accents fly right by the audience. Still, it came out pretty well. Are you familiar with the strip?

Yeah, I used to be. Haven't read it since he brought it over to his own site, but, yeah, used to love it.
Thought it got kinda in a high-fantasy rut soon after he started working on three more projects which were largely self-indulgent anyway, as though N&T wasn't enough already, and UTLT just did not withstand the move and the rhetcon, and it's just gone now.

High fantasy? Are you sure you're not thinking of "Tales of the Questor"? "Nip 'n' Tuck" occasionally gets in a political or movie rut, but I haven't seen any high fantasy in it. (The narration is from a "trailer" showing at the end of the latest movie arc. It was much better than "Man on the Border"... less overtly wish-fulfilling, and much better written.)
Likewise, "Under the Lemon Tree" was left alone for some time after becoming "Goblin Hollow", but it's finally updating again. The change from tulpas to goblins at least removes some of the more outrageous questions about the Posse's existence...
