And the final straw would be that they start acting and thinking like their characters. And what would happen if the "virtual world" became the hell of the Hazbine-verse? With the line between their original identities disappearing and living their lives in hell as if nothing happened, without remembering that it was all a virtual fiction. Or was it never?
I'll buy it.
If we go to an Intermediate interpretation it would be even fun for them in that simulation and they would start to "roleplay", acting like the characters they are now, but over time the "roleplay" would be so natural that they would do it without the intention of doing so. They could get out of character but they don't do it because that's not fun.

Heh, more like just getting used to their roles while keeping their previous personality, So over time it's all just natural for them. But their previous self is never lost.
Oh, heh, I did get briefly permabanned, but the messages I've exchanged with the mod team does at least give me the nice reassurance this site is still run by people and not just AI, which is more than what can be said for most of the internet nowadays.
