just to explain the joke the implication is that jellyskull welded his mouth shut specifically so he wouldn't be able to do that, but he underestimated how masochistic vitrio is willing to be XD
also the sonic blast has a property of clensing buffs of a target as well as increasing damage vulnerability. there is a concept art much like the one I got done for stheno showing how he fights.
ALSO just some information, I think originally I had stheno have an 3dgy side or dark side, but I didn't want to saddle him with my own issues, so Vitrio his brother was created! contrasted with stheno he's a master of inorganic matter and obsessed withVENGENCE justice.

yeah I was kind of inspired by the sirens from the "killing floor" series in that regard; I mean it's not a 1 to 1 comparison, they can't strip you of your buffs directly, or launch you, but I have died many a times from my medic grenade evaporating in a sonic shockwave lol
