Past, present, and eternal mood, featuring Buck Donner.
Those evening walks were the only time I could really find any sort of peace, it seems, but even then I couldn't escape my own mind.
I did manage to lose about 30 pounds between January and October 2024, though, just from getting out and walking (and being broke and severely depressed, and not eating much as a result)... but all the cartoon animals stayed obese. That's equal parts because I used to (and do still, to a degree) enjoy drawing the round shapes, and because I'm too goddamn lazy to actually put forth the effort to draw different body shapes.
Find Me On:
FurAffinity ◈ Weasyl ◈ Ko-Fi
Finished this one October 28, 2024. Before, you know, a majority of Americans voted to stick everyone's faces right into the leopards' jaws. I can't even say I'm surprised, just disappointed.
All I can say to the rest of the world is, I'm sorry. I tried.
This one hits even harder now, with Buck's expression and the fact that he's gay and has friends in the LGBT community that he cares about. That target on him isn't just cartoon ironic fashion anymore.
I don't even know if I should have bothered returning to posting art since I'm pretty sure art sites are on the Project 2025 chopping block so it might be all for nothing.
Not that I or my art would really be missed anyways. Nobody is or was exactly clamoring for my return, and my several-month absence went all but completely unnoticed. I'm sure the fact that the majority of my art the past year or so was mostly very depressed, fat and lonely animals (that were fully clothed) combined with the fact that I just didn't have any energy to reply to comments (and was holding back the urge to reply with fury to a few) didn't help things.
