Almost all I need, almost everything that's left for me to crave, is just peace and quiet, cozyness, comfort, and to feel safe and warm. To be left alone by life and the world, for we can't stand it all. Drawings and scenes like these are small and very short little vacations and breaks from reality.
It feels repetitive to draw this kind of cozy sketches, but I really need those from time to time or I'll go insane.
There are even many I don't post here because they are more personal. Maybe I will put them up in the future or not idk, some of them are really nice.

MG that sound amazing. I'd love to do something like this too but I sleep up in a ..how are these called.. Google says loft bed. A bed where there's some space under the bed (big enough that another person could sleep there or you could put little desks or drawers there, etc) and you sleep up there. But I could install some hooks in the ceiling over the bed's outter rail and put a blanket or veil on it to hang down, and it would then create a little space. Hard to explain but simple if you see it xD
Anyway, making an enclosed nest out of a bed sounds lovely!
There's like dog beds for adult humans I remember seeing online. These would be amazing for this purpose but I don't have enough space for one here xD

I was a bit more lazy in my design, I put one mattress on the floor and one propped up on its side next to it, along with boxes and flat metal tables surrounding the other 3 sides to make solid walls, with a box and table over the top, then blankets over all of that so there's no gaps for light to get in (but plenty of holes throughout the structure for constant fresh airflow and even a fan at one of the air inlets for the hot summer months >v<). It's quite a mess of things but comes together very well and lets me feel quite safe and enclosed when I rest. I am a super light sleeper so having a perfectly dark and slightly soundproofed roomy space to sleep in really helps.
You should pursue a bed fort of your own if you think it would provide good comfort (and the lack of morning sun won't fuck up your waking cycle). A loft bedframe looks really cool and would have saved me a lot of trouble, as I'd have the whole structure done and would just need the blankets. If you're determined enough and not using the lower area for anything you could just slip your mattress down there, though at that point it's just a lower quality lower bunk. I'd feel silly buying a bunkbed just to use the bottom and make it enclosed so I'll stick with my thing for now. Wow those human sized dog beds also look really cozy, like a proper nest! Now I want to try out one..
