Many students are afraid (and ashamed) of their new animal-like appearance. Ricarda from the 3rd grade of the Kilima school (left) tries her best to comfort her little brother Jeremy (right).
"Ricarda simply didn't know how to help herself, nor did she know how to comfort her brother in this situation. She picked up the remains of the socks and placed them on a table. Then she pulled back the curtains a little and opened the window a crack. Only then did she sit down on the edge of Jeremy's bed. In silence. Minutes passed. Then suddenly Jeremy's muffled voice came from under the covers."
