Finally cleared my queue, so now it's time for more shameless self indulgence! :'D
Meet Mr. Sandman, a Cacturne living on a volcanic black sand beach that, after his blood dried out into sand as all other Cacturnes do, became possessed by its own sand - or rather, a shiny Palossand that basically grew inside of it. But due to the nature of Palossand and its innate fear and hatred of water, the Cacturne could no longer willingly consume water and basically died. Whatever life is left in him relies solely on the Palossand that now puppeteers his body and feeds him nutrients from the life forces of other beings! He locates prey hiding amidst the sands or otherwise underground by using the spade shovel of Palossand in a similar nature to a dousing rod. Absorbing people or other Pokémon (of small enough size and stature to fill his sandbag body without poking out) into his body and drowning them in his inner black sands, their bones, which are the only things left behind by his victims, float around in his inner sand and can be pulled back out for offensive purposes. Prey that is too big to consume whole runs the risk of being stabbed to death and eventually sliced apart by the sharp, bladed edges of the spade shovel which he uses much like a kitchen knife. He's a baaaad guy, duh.
