One day, a spontaneous question sprang in my mind : if kobolds are mesotherms (a type of thermoregulation strategy intermediate between cold-blooded and warm-blooded) then what would be the societal implications depending of the environnement (surface, sub-surface, deep caves...) ? One result of these musings is this solar villa concept, inspired by some elements of the roman domus like the atrium and impluvium. The two different types of paint on the sun-facing walls help to tune the distribution between light and warmth to the local climate.
