I always find it so difficult to determine what information is important on an introduction sheet / reference sheet etc. I feel like I never have enough space :'(

Personality is a good start for what could be important on a reference. It could give a nice insight on how they act and all. Another one would be mentioning or explaining some key moments. Could gather people and make them eager to learn more. Background is obviously a fun one to do too. This looks really great.
Don't worry about it, Atrea species are extremely simplified. He's a mix of different canids, so he's not really a fox, not really a jackal, definitely not a wolf, so atreans call him Dog cause that's the umbrella term for canids! Just as Lurker is the umbrella term for everything that's neither a dog or a cat but something in between (like genets, raccoons, martens, ...).
