... but on the day me and 
belise7 got married, there was a celebratory cattle drive going through downtown! I got lucky, found parking and didn't realize there even was a cattle drive. Belise however, wasn't so lucky. She managed to get into the courthouse right at the last minute, so all's well that ends well, but even so it makes for a great story!
(and before anyone brings it up, NO, Longhorndillos are NOT used for food! They help out with plowing fields and making oversized slingshots, duh!)

Straight up hopped out my aunts car, hiked up my dang skirts, cousin holding my bouquet as we hauled balls down the street to the court house 10 minutes before the ceremony

My wife and I made it on time, but my brother was almost late to our wedding because of kids' soccer league stopping traffic to let all the cars out from the park. My brother, already in his tux, said he was going to be late to a wedding to one of the cops, who thought it was his wedding so they waved him through.
