First try at making a canid type leather mask. Didn't turn out quite as I hoped, but future ones should be better.

Gah. If only, that dragon mask has been on my "want" list ever since I saw it a long time ago.

I still have a lot to learn with leatherwork. Getting there slowly..

And nothing worth obtaining is ever obtained quickly and easily- taking things slowly just means you have more time to pay attention to the little details. :3 You already have wonderful skills in leather making, I'm positive the more you work on it and hone your skills the more amazing you will become. Everything is in the details. :3

I've made a few dragon masks, but they're much easier since they can look like whatever and still look like dragons. I've put off making a real animal until now since I knew it probably wouldn't come out so great ._. Thanks!

I'm actually really impressed with how this one came out! Looks like you managed to get the muzzle to stick out decently instead of going straight down as well, which is tricky (a pain in the butt) on long muzzle'd creatures.

Very spiffy paint job too, looks very soft and fur-like. Nicely done! ^u^

If I didn't know I'd think it was made of ceramic or even wood.

Thank you very much! I was considering keeping its original leather colour, you really can't tell what it's made from with the paint. Its hardened leather so it feels almost wood-like too.
And yes, I hope to do a few more of these, I still have a lot to learn and a lot to experiment with.
