Otto Reference (SFW)
One thing I learned drawing this. I have never, ever, ever consistently drawn his scars. And how his natural plating works varies too.

I love his design. So handsome! I'm honestly curious about his backstory.
What i don't undestand proprely in this picture is the lower panel segment. Is it a reference for his scales pattern, scars, horns and juelry? If that's so, it's a clever exposition. I like it. If not, I have no idea.

Re Backstory: In summary, Otto lives for the chase. He desires all that he cannot have, and once he has it, will give it to someone more fitting. He could be granted rulership of the world, infinite money, and immortality, and he'd give it up to pursue the same on another plane. He's paid for this desire many times, with the scars that cover his body serving as the bill. When he's not fighting, he's drinking. Live hard, part hard, damn the cost. Now, you'd also never get him to publicly admit it, but he'd rather be charging into battle in a silk dress over armor, because they're far more comfortable. Unfortunately, armor is a lot smarter when someone is trying to kill you. Dragonborn hide is only so tough.
Re the lower panel: It is exactly that. Made for a more interesting way to do a swatch.

Thank you very much for answering. I was geninely curious.
He's really an interesting character. He seems to be strong an kind. However I feel a little bit bad for him: it feels like he has a restless life. A neverending struggle. It's like an unsatiable hunger. I know he likes it becouse he would'nt do it otherwise.
Feels a bit sad. But just a bit, because in the end he just gets what he wants ("a life on the chase").
Anyway, amasing character design, fitting name and appealing backgroud (both for the character story and the picture). I love him, a true adventurer.
PS: I forgot to mantion that i loved how you put the value for both metric units for height and weight. I use the meter and kilograms for istance. That's a truly thoughtful thing to do.
Cheers!
