Kroko was warned several times to stay away from Atem, but kroko wanted to get a fortune about how to make amends with Mercury. Deimos wasn't far behind. Kroko asked Atem for his famous three card fortune, he was set with a destiny card, Becoming ruler of Mist but with no Mercury in attendance. Or a Tragedy, his constants failures at making amends and Mercury's hatred towards him gets more strained.
Atem had another card in his possession that could help him, but he'd have to pull it from Atem's deck. The first card Kroko pulled was a joker card, losing the game and ending up a diaper. Despite Deimos towering over him, he knows not to mess with the slowking, so he decided to just the Krookodile on and just laugh with Atem, Kroko enjoying how warm Deimos' feathery butt decided that they should return home, Atem telling him his stall always there, Kroko would make attempts as he wants to make amends as Mercury the only pokemon who resents him.
