I think I speak for a lot of us when I say a quiet life off in some cozy village, or a nice island getaway, sounds pretty good right about now. That's why this week, I want to share this piece by @Dez-A-Sketch, which sees me moving into the welcoming village life not as a new arrival, but one of the established residents - the octopus, Marina! She doesn't seem to mind trying out a human body for herself, either - hopefully that's not some sign that the extra legs will be challenging to adapt to...
This one was actually half of a trade! A few months back, I did my own side for Dez as well, swapping him with the bear villager Judy. It makes for an exciting pitch as a potential new update for the games to allow players to swap with villagers of their choice, but unfortunately I don't really see Nintendo going for it. Maybe some day...
