I really wish this would happen in at least one universe.
If only Activision would just give these two a baby, and a happy ending, leave the happy ending at that. If done right I'll never have to ask for anything of these two again (combat related stuff can be done by any spiritual successor). Just a beautiful conclusion. And a confirmed name for the little tot.
