As my watchers are aware, I had to take VDB III (my last dog) to a shelter for attacking one of my cats.

That was a while back, and we did a lot of thinking before getting another. We made sure to bring the cats with us to see how the dogs we were looking at responded.

This is the dog we picked and her Petfinder photo. Her name was originally Vickie, but after asking tumblr for suggestions (as I give all my pets racehorse names), she is now Moose's Secret Gin Stash, and responds to both "Moose" and "Gin". She's 5, derpy, and adorable.
