I've already established Alasdair's interest in model railways, and showcased a small portion of his own layout. I've also established that some of his fellow crewmates tend to take an interest in the layout, so I thought I'd expand on that in this small scene. Here we see Jenni Fulton giving Alasdair a hand with his latest wagon kit - a fish van, hence her interest.
I think this piece has gone through more name changes than any others. When I started drawing it, it was titled Fish & Ships - the idea being that we would see the dockyard portion of Alasdair's layout. However, I didn't have as much time as usual to work on this piece, so I had to fall back on reusing the backscene from my Great Little Trains piece. That necessitated a title change, so I went with Kit & Caboodle (the pun should be obvious). This then changed to Kit, Cat & Caboodle. That stuck right up until I was preparing the piece for posting, at which point I suddenly came up with the final title - a glorious pun, and a Pink Floyd reference, to boot.
