Spring 7, Year 1

A giant tower with magic plants and strange smells and sounds is very interesting. Unfortunately, coming face to face with the owner in the middle of him brewing a forest potion wasn't the plan. Getting splashed with said potion is certainly some kind of introduction.

Word of the Weird Ass Deer had reached the ears of the few locals who actually know what had taken over old Avalon Farm. Thankfully, this creature appears to be of a very gentle nature, and seems content to just wander about the clueless townsfolk. No need to correct and alarm them. The town already had one secret resident, what's another?

In which only Magnus and Marlon actually know the Weird Ass Deer is a peryton. The rest of the townsfolk believe it to be a simple, albeit odd, deer. This au(???) was going to be "everyone thinks this peryton is a normal deer, just a really fucking weird one", but the more I thought about it, the more I realised a literal fucking wizard, and a guild whose function it is to hunt monsters, would absolutely know that is NOT a deer. Just deer-like. It can be a little like a deer, as a treat. Idk if this makes any sense I'm kinda tired and about to go to bed after I post this. Anyway, Magnus quickly realises, while this creature is tripping absolute balls on forest magic, it's completely harmless. If townsfolk learned this wasn't a deer, it would cause panic, so keeps it quiet (so does Marlon). Is this realistic? Fuck if I know. Probably not. I'm just doing this for fun. I'm rambling. Goodnight.

Things different from canon; (AU???)
- Gramps never had an heir, or they never show/ed up.
- Special new farm map; Frontier Farm!
- Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
- The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.

This is my first time playing Stardew Valley Expanded, so I’m learning as I go. (Please no spoilers if you play SVE)
