A bit of backstory: Dion is a hybrid who is good friends with Kai and one of his traveling companions. He is a cheerful, upbeat guy who enjoys seeing the various wonders the world has to offer and those beyond it. He has a love for video games and working towards making his own, often getting ideas from the adventures he has with Kai and the others. Other than his game, he helps out at a local video game store where we hangs out with Zack from time to time after work. He is very outgoing and helps Kai be more playful and enjoy things around him. Dion loves to help people and help them smile, to feel joyful and free.
Dion comes from a loving family where he is the 5th and last child to be born in his family. His family are pretty close to one another, always keeping in touch and supporting the other. Dion is the only one among his family who is born with powers, something he finds amazing as he can be his own superhero for his ideas. His family is very supportive of him having his powers and treat him like anyone else, something Dion vaules as he wants people to treat him normally and not special. Those who treat him normally are the people he gets along with the best. Around his family and friends, Dion always is hyped to play video games with them and show off his skills. He loves all types of games and wishes to make his own one day.
Dion demonstrates a large amount of energy and uses for abilities, able to heal and create protective barriers on people. He has the power to manipulate and use angelic and demonic energies, and shows he can even control radiation and blood. He uses his powers to help those in need and to defend those close to him, often getting himself in trouble with a band crowd. Despite this, Dion is good with his skills and proved he can be a tough contender.
He goes through high school and college without any issues, even after the reveal of magic to the public event he still acts like his usual self. He graduates college with a degree in game development, slowly making his way to his dream goal of making a video game of his own. It would be shortly after graduating and getting a job at the video game shop where Zack works to eventually come across Kai. The two meet by chance, Dion went to help someone who was being chased by a monster. Kai went after the monster as well and the two bump into each other as a result. Thanks to Dion's barriers and Kai's offensives, they get rid of the monster and protect the person in danger. Kai is impressed with Dion's abilities while Dion is impressed with Kai's looks and skills. Atlas joins them shortly after and the three start talking to each other.
It wouldn't take long before Atlas mentions about Dion being part of their little group, something Kai doesn't like to think about. Dion is quick to offer his help and wants to see other places and even other worlds if that's something they will be doing. Dion finds this to be the perfect way to get new ideas for his game and really use his powers for something more. Seeing a reflection of himself in Dion, Kai realizes it wouldn't be bad to have Dion around and it would be a way for Kai to keep Dion safe if he gets himself in trouble. So Kai let's him join their group and begins to travel together. They would even meet Reggie, charr who manage to impressive Kai enough to let him join in. Overall, Dion enjoys his adventures with Kai and his group when he can. He keeps his work in order while being part of the team, getting to meet new people and see new places as he goes.
