A rather long term commission for a client that went on way too long.
The more I do this the more I'm convinced I'm only meant for quick concept sketches.

Long time fan of your work, Ryo. Studied your dragon wing structure for a long time and I love how you do it. This image is no exception. No on to the meat of the comment.
I hope you realize the only reason this takes you so long is because you don't do it enough. Speed comes with comfort, and comfort comes with time and practice. It'd be a complete shame if you didn't choose to produce more of this kind of work. It's stunning and you have so much potential in it.
My best advice is to not offer these as commissions until you feel at least a little more comfortable in your process and workflow. try doing this kind of thing with personal project you feel the most inspiration on. It serves to both steel one's resolve to complete the piece past any superficial frustration as well as give you the drive to give it your all and work it until you're mostly proud of the final image.
Just my two cents. =3 I love the picture as a whole but I won't critique since you haven't asked for it. Hope to see more like this.

Your advice has been echoed several times through as many people... I really do need to just do this more. I appreciate the advice of not doing it for commissions though! I think that creates an undue pressure on me that doesn't allow for become comfortable with the format.
As for critique, I wholeheartedly appreciate and anticipate it, both positive and negative.
