She may not have expected to get hit so hard, and her armor took a bit of a beating as a result. That poor cape and her missing boot are just some of the places where she got battered. What exactly happened? She won't tell, her pride is too great to admit defeat yet. Though it's clear form her stance that she might be getting a little thrown off her game this time.
No matter, I'm sure she will overcome this challenge
Y'know in old RPGs when the character's sprite would change to reflect their current HP, and look increasingly more damaged as their health goes down? That's what I wanted to achieve in this set of alts. Hope it comes across. The next two are extra fun ;3
This middle one doesn't have too much extra story, but I have a couple ideas for extra fun commentary for the next couple. Just setting the idea that she's taken some damage to her armor since the first alt :P

Combat is always dangerous, even for the toughest, bravest heroes out there. Things can go wrong so quickly, and you never know what sorts of foes you might have to face. Especially once they twig to the fact that you are damn near unbeatable! That poor armor. That poor sword, too, with the notches out of the blade. She does look considerably less certain of herself at this point. But I'm certain she'll rally and win the day in the end!
Hmm. Having a powerful sword and awesome armor is always a good step in becoming a fearsome warrior. Unfortunately, the next step on that road is taking your lumps and learning from experience. Shame about the armor. It looked really good, and expensive, too. But it sounds like she's not the kind to let a setback or two get in her way!
