Some time ago, I heard about friction vacuum cleaners which generate suction through the wheels of the machine. They are mechanically simple and do not use electricity, but they only aspirate on the forward stroke. I wanted to improve on the design by using cyclonic separation, which can be independent of the direction of rotation of the fan.
