I made this about two years ago, but it's never been worn outside of these photos.

It's made from red vinyl with a raised scale pattern (it's like snakeskin, see the penny for size comparison). It's 55 inches long (that's almost 5 feet!) and has a chain on the inside so it wags nicely and has some heft to it. I did some tail fu in my apartment and knocked over my photographer's light stand. Score!

Since I made this a while ago, I didn't have the experience I have now. I have included an "honesty shot" of the finishing job around the base. It's mostly machine sewn and the belt loops are strong denim so I'm not concerned about its durability compared to my current work.
