The mush of wet sand molded around the exposed claws and toes with every step, an occasional wave coming by to wash their trail away as the two walked a slow pace across the sand bar, a second shore forming off of the beach while the tide laid low in the bright day. Airborne sand stuck to wet scales along tails and legs and the heat drying off exposed skin.
Elo the big lass held the little serpent close, forced to go his speed. Sudz couldn't walk off if he wanted to but the warmth from every direction made him comfortable right where he was.
Down a mile was a nice seaside bar, the short journey ahead would promise the pair the beautiful sights that the bright blue swells and soft shore provided~
