So this is what I got back from my literature teacher for this story: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58289457/ which I turned in for my mid-term; if this isn't inspiring me to at least attempt to publish my future works, I don't know what will.
Suspended disbelief- temporarily allowing oneself to believe something that may or may not be true, especially in order to enjoy a work or critique of fiction.
