Kalek is the Nornen word for a keep/castle.
This specific Kalek is located in the far north of Nornen close to the border of Rohai.
The architecture depicts a clear overlap of Nornen and Rohaian elements and shows he influence Rohai has on their southern neighbour.
Kaleks were usually build at strategic locations around Nornen.
They vary in sizes and shapes, depending on where you are and which baron is in control of them.
