It's always important to keep your feathers and fluff in pristine condition, you never know who or what you may stumble on! Even midday when my colors may not blend in the best, I always find the time to set aside a few minutes and preen.
Sometimes I don't mind being observed as I do so; it's always vital to make sure my presence is known - especially in my own territory! Though if I'm nonchalantly preening in the open like this, there's likely a reason... And it seems someone has already caught my eye~
