The beginning of Alex and Oscar’s somewhat unusual relationship. Alex, the cursed, genderbent, trans-in-denial fennec has found a new guilty pleasure after agreeing to use his curse to pose as her housemate Oscar’s girlfriend.
It started as a one-time thing. With Oscar needing a date to his wealthy parents’ gala thing (Hollywood types amirite?) and Alex owing Oscar the favor, the fennec made a reluctant agreement.
However, things got out of hand when one of Oscar’s surfer/stoner friends saw him and his new “girlfriend” at the event. One person talked to another who talked to another, which inevitably led to Oscar’s friend group telling him that it’d be cool to meet her next time they hung out.
Alex was mortified, but eventually agreed to resume the act, not really having any other choice. He told himself that it was embarrassing, humiliating, etc… Even going so far as to make Oscar think the same! But deep down…there’s something kinda cathartic about having someone love you, even if it’s just an act that you’re pulling with a friend.
…it is just an act, right…?
