he was fun to paint and cool facial markings! was a fun challenge
I have a few things to say about this work.
First I use premixed colors which I don't think was the move. turned out really flat, I did this because I thought it would be easier than mixing brown colors but now I know.
second is the background, didn't really know what to and it was stopping me from getting the the actual character and that was the purpose of it
last I thought I did a good job on the wolf head shape looked at a lot if reference and took me a while to get right. I was messing up the mouth a good bit so I threw a rabbit in there.

wooow! what a surprise, and thank you so much! i love this! you captured Hundr perfectly. i love the addition of the rabbit in his mouth. i don't believe the piece looks flat, i can see you have used many different values for the fur colors which has given him good volume. and he looks very fluffy, i want to reach out and rustle his fur.
