I was talking with another artist and this crazy idea came to me. What if the shading colors were the only colors on the character besides an undertone of a bright color spread. This is what came out of that thought. I took the line art from one of my older works and re-did it using this idea. I think it turned out to be a cool effect and adds some additional cheerfulness to an already happy picture of this duck playing the steel drum.
