Even though I knew that Sally and Jeanette were chipmunks, I only recently realized that BOTH Sally and Jeanette are chipmunks! …I know that sounds weird. I guess what I mean is that; I just noticed that if they existed in the same universe, they would share the same species, even though they look nothing alike.

I think another big part of why I forget this is that they are drastically different in the design choices. Where Jeanette is fully clothed, Sally is practically nude. I can’t even have them switch costumes, because I wouldn’t feel comfortable drawing Jeanette wearing just a vest and a pair of boots. *sigh* At least once Jeanette gets over the culture shock, I think these two could hang out. They’re both actually quite brilliant, after all. My two favorite characters from their respective series. (+ Bunnie and Simon)
