Hey everyone!
This piece might come a bit as a surprise as it's already long past Halloween, but I unfortunately didn't finish the drawing in time for one of my favourite times of the year and instead of throwing it away, I still wanted to finish it and post it, even if very late, since I enjoyed the WIP so much. So Happy belated Halloween I suppose!
I always try to think of something new to dress up as for Halloween and this year, I went in Fursuit as a Vampire! So of course I had to draw myself as a Vampire, trying to cause mischief. No, noone sees the jam down there, of course it is real blood! Anyways, I wanted to keep this drawing in the style of my previous Halloween Illustration from last year:

I hope I managed! This time however, I hid a few other small details and eastereggs, but nothing too big or important, yet I feel happy that I did include them^^ Let me know if you found anything suspicious! And of course, let me know your thoughts on this piece!

It's a bit late for Halloween, but it's not too late to write a comment. First of all: I'm impressed how detailed you drew yourself. Seriously: Every single hair appears to have been precisely drawn by hand – and there is a lot of hair. The pearly white fangs make plastic imitations obsolete. I can't really tell if I should feel frightened or attracted; maybe both. And with the sharp claws added, it adds another hazard for your look. The color choice of the cape, black and red, never grows old for a vampiric piece of cloth. No matter whether the color of the fur or the color of the cape, the shadows and the lighting looks fantastic. Even though you are the center and the main focus of the drawing, the background can not be ignored. The full moon casts a brilliant light on the cloudy night sky, illuminating everything adjacent to it in a almost dazzling, but beautiful way. Falling leafs and the one clinging at the tree enhances the feeling of an autumn night. Green leafs may look a little strange for Halloween, but too bright and warm colors like orange would have disturbed the rather cold night experience. I adore how the bottom edge of your picture gets swallowed by the background, adding another background layer to your craft. The bulky ground plate your character is standing on with its round, blunted corners fits perfect into the scene, giving the surrounding an ancient appearance. Btw: Good choice on the strawberry jam! Should always be in the fridge.
